"I love making crowns. I begin with a spool of gold or silver wire and while turning and twisting the strands a form begins to appear. From this initial conception I work what has become a mass of wire into a form vaguely recognizable as a crown or ornamental accessory. Often the metal needs to be heated and cooled into a softer more pliable medium. After many hours of processing and sculpting I adorn the object with complementary jewels."
